Matthew Johnson founded Bartlett Stone Carving in 2004 with a commitment to start each working day with a contemplation of the importance of beauty in our lives and bring that to life through the time honored and enduring power of carved stone.

We believe that ornamental and sculptural stone has a unique ability to give character, permanence, and meaning to the spaces around it. Our aim is to create works that will collaborate with their surroundings, reveal themselves over time, and continue to quietly speak long after the hands that made them are gone.
